LESSONS OF THE VIETNAM WAR (4th Period)
Lessons of the Vietnam War is a class that analyzes the Vietnam War era that was such a defining moment in American History. Students get to hear Vietnam Veterans relate their experience first-hand. North Carolina Vietnam Vets Incorporated (NCVVI) is an integral component to the success of this class. Each semester there will be approximately 15-20 guest speakers. Through the use of not only speakers but video, texts, magazines, and other ancillary materials, students will get an in-depth understanding of this pivotal time in American History.
